Boxes
We make 3 types of boxes: Slip Cases, Clam Shells and Presentation Boxes. With the slip case the book slides in and out of the case. A clam shell box opens right up and both lids lay flat when opened. The lids of a clam shell extend over the sides of the box walls. A presentation box has a lid that opens the box and comes with a ribbon to pull out your book. The lid and the box walls are flush to each other. Boxes can be made in any material except for leather.

Buckram
A stiff cloth made primarily from cotton. An extremely durable, washable material that has a slight sheen and industrial look and feel. It is very good for heavy duty usage and an excellent choice for portfolios. Buckram is  available in 6 colours: Agate, Aquamarine, Lava, Pearl, Pewter, Steel.

End Papers
Endpapers are what you see when you first open your photo book. They are that folded sheet of paper with one half glued to the inside book cover and the other half to the sewn pages. They hold the pages to the covers. All our photo books come standard with Fine Art Black end papers. You have the option to upgrade to either marbled or metallic circles end papers. Our marbled end papers are hand made by an artist who has successfully resurrected a centuries old technique. Metallic Circle end papers are foil embossed.

Image Covers
We use a satin finished laminate that offers extreme durability with a very low sheen. We offer 2 styles of image covers. The full image cover is one cover that starts from the front carries over the spine and then to the back cover. Text may be added to the spine. The quarter bound image cover is comprised of a front cover, a material spine and then a separate back cover. When adding a slip case to a quarterbound image cover the effect is seamless as the spine material can match the slip case material.

Leather
Full grain cow hides that are soft and supple to the touch. Leather is available in 6 colours: Black, Chartreuse, Chocolate Brown, Fuchsia, Red, Robin's Egg

Paper
We have 3 paper stocks to choose from that include both standard and lay flat versions. Our standard paper is a true fine art matte paper. It is 176GSM in thickness and delivers beautifully subtle tones and contrast. When used in our photo books the pages will not lay flat and there will be a gutter. In contrast we have 2 lay flat paper stocks. These papers use a proprietary built in hinge and lay perfectly flat when open; a distinct advantage when presenting your work to clients. We sew our lay flat papers extremely tight so the effect of bleeding images across the gutter is nearly seamless with the gutter largely unnoticeable. In our lay flats we offer a 176GSM matte and a stunning 250GSM photo luster that has the look and feel of true photo luster paper. The photo luster stock is highly recommended for use with our screw and post portfolios.

Photo Books
We offer 9 sizes with our photo books. All large books can be directly scaled down to either medium or small sizes. Our photo books are all individually made by hand and printed on a state of the art HP Indigo 7500 Digital Offset press. Books are all hand sewn to ensure the best in quality and longevity. Cover materials range from Buckram, Image Cover,  Leather, Silk & Satin.

Portfolios
We offer 2 styles of screw and post portfolios: Single piece and 3-piece. The spine cannot be removed from single piece portfolios. Our leather portfolios can only be made in the single piece style. 3-piece portfolios are comprised of a front cover, an interchangeable spine and the back cover. The advantage here is that you can now use the spine as an added design element and change the spine material and/or colour to contrast with the front and back covers. Our standard spines allow up to 40 portfolio pages. Wider spines are available.

Ribbons
Silk Ribbons are used with our presentation boxes. Ribbon colours include: Aqua, Black, Burnt Sienna, Chocolate Brown, Cream, Gold, Hot Pink, Light Plum, Olive, Silver, Taupe, Teal

Silk          
All the beauty and feel of raw silk. A light to medium duty material. Silk is available in 11 colours: Black, Chocolate Brown, Burnt Sienna, Cream, Dynasty Red, Light Plum, Petal Green, Platinum, Robin's Egg, Taupe, Teal

Satin
A light duty material. Available in 3 colours: Hot Pink, Midnight Black, Purple Brocade

Stamping
We offer a choice from using our less expensive in house metal fonts to having the ultimate creativity with a custom die made from your submitted artwork. Foil Stamping in such colours as Black, Green, Grey, Red, Yellow and White is available on our Buckram material only. Metallic coloured foils and custom foil colours are also available. Leather and Silk products can only be blind stamped ( no foil ).
